Registration of dogs and handlers will take place at the venue.

  • Thursday from 17:00 to 20:00
  • Friday morning from 07:00 to 08:00.

You need to bring your dog and the dogs passport - PS: all the reserve dogs also has to register.

  • Friday will be handed out during registration on thursday and friday morning.
  • Saturday can be picked up before 07:00, at the registration area
  • Sunday can be picked up before 07:00, at the registration area

What will be checked:

ID MARKING

The microchip must be readable and must match the information in the dog’s passport.

Pet Passport

Issued by an authorized veterinarian in the EU/EEA. Must include information about the owner and the dog’s ID-number.

Rabies Vaccination

The vaccine must be administered at least 21 days before entry into Norway. And documented in the dogs passport.
- Norway: This is not needed.
- Sweden: If the dog has just been in Sweden before entering Norway, this is not needed.

Treatment Against Echinococcus multilocularis (Fox Tapeworm) (two ways to treat this)
24-120 hours
  • Must be administered by a veterinarian 24–120 hours before entering Norway. Must be documented in the pet passport.
28-day rule
  • You can also follow the 28-day rule for tapeworm treatment instead of the standard 24–120 hour window before entry. 
    • Your dog must be treated at least twice with a maximum interval of 28 days between treatments before traveling to Norway.
    • After the initial two treatments, the dog must continue to receive treatment at intervals no longer than 28 days for as long as it keeps traveling to and from Norway.

Treatment must be certified by a veterinarian and recorded in the pet passport.

  • Norway: This is not needed.
  • Finland: Not required if traveling directly from Finland to Norway. Required if traveling via Sweden.
Vaccination for Compeeting in Norway

The dog sould be vaccinated against distemper, infectious hepatitis, and parvovirus.(DHPP/DHP, DHPPV/DHLPPV, Nobivac DHPPi)
The vaccination must be given at least 14 days before the competition. The vaccine must be no older than 3 years from the date it was administered. Must be documented in the passport.
Dogs will still be allowed to enter without this vaccination
